How to support us

Promoting Ethics, principles of responsible conduct and social consciousness constitutes a "public good". This good serves society by promoting social cooperation for mutual advantage.

Because the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics has no funding by state or public institutions we are reliant on private support. To continue the projects the Association raises money through membership fees, project funds and donations. Moreover a permanent endowment fund has been estabished by the Foundation, so their returns ensure that the Center can operate in the long run.

Individuals, corporations or organizations who feel committed to the concerns of ethics and the approach of the Wittenberg Center are very welcome to become partners and sponsors. Donations and endowments can be dedicated to support the Association's projects or to increase the Foundation's capital stock. Both are tax deductible in Germany. In the United States the American Foundation for the WCGE Onc. is the legal entity to support the charitable work.
