How can decision-makers from business, politics and society, credible exercise their responsibilities in an era of globalization? What ethical principles and rules are needed for this - and how can they be placed?

Together with renowned representatives from politics, business and organizations, will discuss on theses issues at the Wittenberg Center, on the 29th September in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.

The symposium deals with three main topics: Under the heading "Global Ethics" is about possibilities of international cooperation for mutual advantage. The block "Economic Ethics" deals with the moral quality of the market economy as a framework order. The contribution of "business ethics" is ultimately the responsibility of individual actors.

Subsequently, there shall be the inauguration of the Foundation Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics, in the presence of Federal Minister Dr. Annette Schavan, and Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Böhmer of the State of Saxony Anhalt.
